Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Duoza collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Duoza is for people 18 and older.

Duoza is operated by Lodos Dijital Teknolojiler ve Yazılım Limited Şirketi (“Lodos”), registered in İstanbul, Türkiye. Lodos is the data controller (veri sorumlusu) responsible for your personal data under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK GDPR.

1. Information we collect

• Account: your email and sign-in details, display name, and basic profile (such as gender and relationship role) that you provide.
• What you share in the app: your check-ins (such as mood, energy, and needs), notes, tasks, lists, plans, and other entries you create.
• Optional sensitive features — only if you turn them on: menstrual-cycle and fertility information, and intimacy preferences and messages. You control whether these are enabled and whether they’re shared with your partner.
• Partner connection: who you’re linked with, through an invite you or your partner create.
• Calendar: if you connect a calendar, the event details you choose to sync.
• Device and usage: push-notification tokens, app version, time zone, and basic diagnostic data used to run and improve the app.
• Purchases: your subscription status from the app store. We don’t receive your full payment-card details.

2. How we use your information

To provide Duoza: to interpret your signals into suggestions for your partner, deliver notifications, run the features you use, support your account, keep the service secure, and improve it.

3. AI processing

To generate your daily brief, suggestions, and chat replies, we send relevant context from your account to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it to produce a response. We share only what a feature needs. Anthropic acts as our service provider and isn’t permitted to use your information for its own purposes. If you’d prefer your information not be processed this way, don’t use the AI features.

4. Sharing with your partner

Duoza is built around consent. Your partner receives suggestions derived from your signals — not your raw entries — and only for the categories you’ve chosen to share. You can change what you share, or disconnect, at any time in the app.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting
• Anthropic — AI features
• Expo — push notifications
• RevenueCat and the app stores — subscriptions and payments

6. We don’t sell your data

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account in the app; when you do, we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records to meet legal, security, or accounting obligations.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No app or online service can be completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can access and update your profile, control what you share with your partner, turn optional features on or off, manage notifications, and delete your account — all in the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your information. Under KVKK (Article 11) you may ask whether we process your data and for what purpose, request access to it, have it corrected or deleted, and object to certain processing; if you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you comparable rights. 10. Children

Duoza is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

11. International processing

We and our providers may process your information in countries other than where you live, which may have different data-protection laws.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know.
