Delete your account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Duoza account and the personal data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to request deletion

Email us at info@duoza.net from the email address on your Duoza account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm the request is genuinely from you and then permanently delete your account.

Email a deletion request

If you can still open the app, you can also remove your partner’s access first under Settings → Privacy → Disconnect. This revokes sharing and deletes past suggestions, but it does not delete your account — use the email request above for full account deletion.

What gets deleted

Your profile and sign-in details
Your check-ins (mood, energy, needs) and any notes
Cycle and fertility information, and intimacy preferences and messages, if you used those features
Your tasks, shopping lists, shared plans, gifts, and milestones
Your partner connection, and the suggestions derived from your signals
Push-notification tokens and device/usage records tied to your account

What we may keep

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it — for example, billing and accounting records, or information needed for security and abuse prevention. We keep these only as long as necessary and otherwise delete or anonymise them. Content created by your partner stays with your partner’s own account.

How long it takes

Once we’ve verified your request, we delete your account and personal data within 30 days. If anything must be retained for the legal reasons above, we’ll delete it once that requirement ends.
